Bon Odori Festival

They say picture speaks a thousand words, therefore I shall not speak much. Enjoy.

Me, Erin and Kelly. They got their yukatas. Looks nice right?

Dancing along with them... clumsily...

See the rows and rows of yummy Unagi??? Hungry...

The performers practicing before the event...

Performers dancing... Pretty yukatas...

Night at the festival...

Oh look, who dancing??? Our Selangor Chief Minister...

When the performance ended, it's time to say goodbye...

I wasn't able to take more videos especially the ending as it was so cool the drummers played very well. Bon Odori is a must go. It's fun and an eye-opener to diverse culture in the world. Food, costumes, dance, music and many more... They are attractive. For those who hasn't been for the festival and really interested to go, do not fret, as they plan it every year. See you there next year.

Flashbacks...

It was just 2 weeks ago when we went to our own respective Unis, went through orientation which was a mixture of fun and boredom. It was the Golden opportunity to have acquaintance. When I started to miss my dearly beloved friends from all over Malaysia, I SMSed them, asking how they were. It was all positive feedback and that made me glad to hear that. As days went by, we were all starting to get busy with our own agendas, attending our very first lecture, going for tutorials, struggling in practicals, chasing after buses and many other affairs.

Life has it's ups and downs. We went through hardship and gain experience, friendship, trust, and self esteem. The reward we reaped was sweet, nevertheless satisfactory.

Although when I SMSed my friends the same old ridiculous mundane and annoying questions of "How are you?" or "What's up?" almost everyday, friends bare with it and replied in the warmest manner. (Hopefully none will hate me)

Well, it is good to hear that everyone is fine and fit as fiddle, as it warms my heart to continue my hopes and dreams. Wishing all to hit their goals in life to be a better person. Till the day we meet, where we will have lots to catch up on.
