Before the start of another misery.

Before I return to the very room I dreaded the most, I would like to leave another happy moment, or should I say many happy moments in this blog as a piece of note to remind me that life is not all that miserable as it seems.

On the 17th of September, I planned meticulously to meet up with 5 of my buddies from Form 5. Then on 18th September, Friday, I received a message from one of my friends saying he was having high fever and that he couldn't make it for lunch with us. This lead to a chain of events which I did not foresee. Bay, a friend couldn't make it as he did not have a transportation. And so I went to Pyramid and met up with Ken Hon. Feeling disappointed in myself, I told him that both Bay and Ting Yu couldn't make it. I was feeling like a total loser at that time. All hope is not lost, I told Ken Hon that Bay suggested we go over to Puchong to have lunch. Without further ado, we prepared to go over to Bay's place. Immediately I SMSed Loh to tell him the change of plans, and thankfully he agreed to the sudden change of plans. Ken Hon, Loh and I met up at Bay's place and we went to a steamboat restaurant to have a scrumptious meal. After our satisfying meal, we decided to visit our sick friend who just came back from the clinic. Thank God that he didn't contract H1N1. To my surprise, Ting Yu shifted to Puchong a couple of months ago. He now stays in a porch environment. Although he was ill, he and his mother entertain us warm-heartedly. We talked and catch up with old times. I was envious that everyone was studying the courses that they all dream of and they all are so far successful. When it was time to part once more, I felt that my heart sank to the abyss, as I felt empty again.

The next day, I went back to my hometown to visit my relatives. It's great to visit most of them again. We had a long chat over the weekends, especially the ladies who traded knowledge on cooking and baking, marinating to grilling, all tended to perfection. We feast during that time, gobbling down food as though they were feat for the Kings. Pastas were creamy, Penang Hokkien Mee were fragrant and delicious. Thinking of it made me drool. Eating was nonstop whenever we go back to Ipoh.

Then the day came, for us to go back home to KL. It was a Tuesday. I remember my friends in Form 6 organised an exciting outing; badminton in 3K and enjoying cups of drinks in Bliss. Sorry I couldn't make it as I was still in Ipoh. But I manage to catch up with them the next day in a game of basketball in USJ3. We played and laughed. It was enjoyable. We even played with students from USJ 12 school. They are school players, so I will leave the scenario to you to imagine. Though we enjoyed to the max. The very same day, we had an outing in Pyramid. I was late because I had lunch at home. When I reached there, I called Pek Yee to confirm the place where they are dining in. So, with haste I make my way to Tokyo G. There were laughters, talking and yelling to cheer the place up. We traded information of our life in our respective universities. Then pictures were taken, flashes happening everywhere, people from other tables were looking at us. An attendant came over and offered to take a group photo of us, and so we did. When we left the place, each had their own shopping to do, and so we split up to complete our task. Me, Bryan, Pek Yee and Grace went our way while Ying Wai, Ken Nie, Rong Gen, Wai Kit, Yu Ken and Marcus went their own way. Joan and Shao Li went their way, too. The ladies in my group went shoes shopping, while we guys... you get the picture. Then our dear beloved Sonia called to meet up with us. We met up with her and bumped into Ping Ying. Together we went for "Manhunt", literally. We went to Wendy's to meet up with them. They were having... something like McFlurry. Me, Pek, Grace, BK and Sonia went to Secret Recipe to indulge in a slice of fattening yet delightful cake while the rest stayed at Wendy's to... erm... ponder their drinks? In Secret Recipe, me and Sonia traded stories, or more like complains. Before we even get to finish our 'lectures', the guys came over to bid their goodbyes. Rong Gen, Ken Nie and Wai Kit made a move while the rest stayed behind for dinner. Joan left afterwards when we left Secret Recipe. During dinner, many became directors and actors. Videos and pictures were taken, acts and scenes were directed, guys became lalas, girls gone wild, Oh the drama... But time was not enough, it ended so soon. Some had to rush for movie while others headed home.

The following days we met up for supper and breakfast. For the very last few moments, pictures and videos were taken in memory of this very moment. As we all will cherish it again, just like before, before the time we go our separate ways, before we grew up, before we entered uni. Once more, we look forward towards the future, to pursue our goals and dreams.

In this very moment, before I pen-off to return to my solitude, before I dread my life, I would like to thank everyone for such a wonderful holiday.
